About us:
Nadella Island Development Society (NIDS) is a Non-Government Organization since 26th June 2007 rendering services for the community in different ways. The founders of the society were Mr. Suhail Mohamed and Mr. Mohamed Nadeem. NIDS was formed with the help of youths to conduct programmes for the well-being of the society.
Since 26th June 2007 onwards we start our programs to achieve the vision of our organization. Especially, many volunteers who are willing to work with our organization had got chances to show their talent and leadership. We hopefully do our best to achieve our goals.
The Main Aims of Our organization:
- Develop human resources and make aware of the public about health especially the dangerous diseases like AIDS and life style diseases.
- To warn the public about the dangers of drug abuse and use of tobacco.
- To encourage the young ladies to take the leadership of the society and find opportunities for them to be equal as men.
- Aware the public about climate change and other environmental issues.
- Develop human resource in agriculture and conduct awareness programs.
- To eradicate the inequalities with physically challenged persons in the community and protect them.
- Participate and conduct traditional events in Maldives.
